The EMX P-44 Receiver mounts to hinge post, wireless emitter mounts across drive on strike post. Prevents gate closure when beam is broken by an obstacle. If gate is closing, the gate will reverse direction and re-open. Important safety feature for all gates especially with children and pets.
The unit is battery-powered: the P44 receiver is connected to the gate opener, while the transmitter operates on battery power. The battery lasts for over half a year.
